Touching from a distance, Ian Curtis and joy division by Debora Curtis.
Well, as you can guess what's the book about I'm going to the main point.
I got it because I'm a big joy division fan, but I'm smart enough to just love the artist and not the person, but i couldn't help myself to get piss off on Ian Curtis's acts.
The book was written by his widow, and I have to be honest, for someone who's isn't in any way a writer, the book is very well done, but it has the tendency to focus on how horrible debbie was feeling, but i can't really blame on her.
The book also contains a huge amount of emotions, that are not bad at all.
There is not much to talk about this book really, specially since is more a thing for joy division's fans, but for none joy division fans, it's also a nice add to your collection, there is nothing complicated about it, but it depends on your point of view about life the way you can take it, it can turn sad for many.
As for the fans, it has a long list of the gigs, the lyrics and unseen lyrics, also quotes from the band member as well people around joy division.
Or you can just go lazy on it, and watch the movie, Control, its about the same, but it's a movie, thats all i'll say about it, very well done, it's not that I hate it, because I love it.
I'm not sorry about the lame review, I have a horrible allergy.
But it's very enjoyable.
